Germantown: In Black and White, is a photography exhibit produced by a cohort of Philadelphia youth interns who, with no prior photography experience, took to the streets (deemed unsafe) to capture the “essence” of the Germantown Historic District.
With guidance from local merchants David Rose (Sally Blagg) and Steven Taylor (Steven CW Taylor Photography), the task was to capture images of the physical environment while discussing the social fabric in the process.
The show will be on display at the Germantown Historical Society on Saturday August 10th, 2019 from noon to 4pm. The exhibit will be during second Saturday as a part of the neighborhood’s 330th anniversary weekend. RSVP for the free event by using this Eventbrite link.
